Our
Vision
We have all been created to love God and have a personal relationship with Him.
At Vino Nuevo, we believe the church is not limited to four walls; it is lived and shared through each one of us, reflecting God's work in our lives and sharing our faith and love with others.
We must serve God with the gifts and talents He has given us, and we believe that everyone has something valuable to contribute, whether you are a student, professional, or a homemaker.
Our faith is strengthened through meaningful relationships and friendships, and we must express it by serving and supporting our community and those around us.
Statement of Faith
At Vino Nuevo, we believe and affirm the following foundational truths of the Christian faith:
-
The Authority of Scripture and the Creeds: We believe that the Bible, both the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired Word of God. It is without error in its original writings and is our supreme authority for faith, doctrine, and daily living.
We also affirm the historic creeds of the Christian faith, such as the Apostles’ Creed and the Nicene Creed, as faithful summaries of biblical truth accepted by the Church throughout the centuries. -

Psalm 119:105
Jude 1:3, 2 Thessalonians 2:15, 1 Timothy 3:16 - The Trinity: We believe in one God who exists eternally in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. They are distinct yet equal in essence, power, and glory.
- • References: Matthew 28:19, Deuteronomy 6:4, 2 Corinthians 13:14
- Jesus Christ: We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. He was born of a virgin by the work of the Holy Spirit, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins, rose bodily on the third day, ascended into heaven, and will one day return in power and glory.

-
The Holy Spirit: We believe that the Holy Spirit is active today. He convicts of sin, regenerates the believer, baptizes into the Body of Christ, indwells, empowers, guides, gives spiritual gifts, and enables believers to live a holy life.
We also believe that the spiritual gifts, including healing, prophecy, tongues, and other miraculous gifts, are still active today for the edification of the Body of Christ. - • References: John 14:26, Titus 3:5, 1 Corinthians 12:4–7, Acts 1:8, 1 Corinthians 12, 1 Corinthians 13, 1 Corinthians 14, Ephesians 4:11–13
- Salvation: We believe that salvation is a gift from God, received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. It is not earned by works but given by God’s mercy to all who repent and believe in Him.
- • References: Ephesians 2:8–9, Romans 10:9–10, Acts 4:12
- Humanity and Sin: We believe that all human beings were created in the image of God, but that all have sinned and are separated from Him. Therefore, all need the forgiveness and new life that only Jesus can offer.

-
The Church: We believe that the Church is the Body of Christ on earth. It is made up of all born-again believers, called to continue the mission of Jesus: to make disciples, serve others, and glorify God.
We believe that the local church should be led by spiritual leaders called by God and equipped with gifts for service and mutual edification. - • References: Ephesians 1:22–23, Matthew 16:18, 1 Peter 2:9, Acts 14:23, Ephesians 4:11–13
- The Great Commission: We believe that all believers have the responsibility to share the gospel with love, proclaim salvation through Christ, and make disciples of all nations.
- • References: Matthew 28:18–20, Mark 16:15, Romans 10:14–15
-
Ordinances and Marriage: We believe that water baptism by immersion is a public expression of faith, and that the Lord’s Supper is a sacred reminder of Jesus’ sacrifice and His return.
We believe that marriage was established by God as a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, reflecting the relationship between Christ and His Church. - • References: Matthew 28:19, Romans 6:4, 1 Corinthians 11:23–26, Genesis 2:24, Ephesians 5:31–32, Mark 10:6–9
- The Return of Christ and Final Judgment: We believe that Jesus Christ will return visibly and gloriously to judge the living and the dead. Those who have believed in Him will live forever in His presence, and those who have rejected Him will face eternal separation.
- • References: Acts 1:11, John 14:3, Revelation 20:11–15, Matthew 25:31–46
- Life and Human Dignity: We believe that all human life is sacred, from conception to natural death. We affirm that God created humanity as male and female, bearers of His image, and called to live according to His design.

Living Our Faith
At Vino Nuevo, we understand that our relationship with God is the heart of everything we do.
The church transcends physical walls, manifesting in how we live and share our faith.
Each person, with their unique talents, plays a fundamental role in strengthening our community and extending God's love to all areas of life.
Together, we build an environment where faith is expressed through service and mutual support.
Our Pastors
